Taste Of Lahore Wembley

If you're strolling down High Road in Wembley and your nose catches a whiff of sizzling spices and tandoor smoke, chances are you're somewhere near Taste Of Lahore Wembley - and trust me, that’s a very good place to be. Tucked at 417 High Rd, Wembley HA9 7AB, this spot is a local favorite for those craving authentic Pakistani flavors without the frills but with all the heart.

The moment you step inside, there’s no mistaking the vibe - lively, aromatic, and unapologetically all about the food. The setup is casual, no fancy chandeliers or velvet booths, just rows of tables packed with regulars who already know that the real star here is the menu.

Let’s talk kebabs, because no trip to Taste Of Lahore is complete without them. The Mixed Kebab Roll is a carnivore’s dream - tender Seekh Kebabs and juicy Chicken Tikka wrapped up in soft naan, kissed with just the right amount of spice and smoky char. And for those who like their meals more substantial, the Mixed Grill Platter is practically a rite of passage. Piled high with everything from lamb chops to tandoori chicken, it's a feast built to share - or conquer solo, no judgement here.

If you’re more of a biryani enthusiast, they’ve got that base covered too. The Lamb Biryani is beautifully spiced, not the fire-breathing kind but the kind that lingers pleasantly on your palate. For a milder yet equally satisfying option, the Chicken Tikka Biryani marries marinated chunks of chicken with fragrant basmati rice. It's the kind of dish that has you reaching back for “just one more bite” until suddenly it’s gone.

But don’t sleep on the curries. The Chicken Karahi comes sizzling in a metal dish, loaded with ginger, garlic, and tomatoes, bubbling away like a miniature volcano. Pair it with fresh naan from the tandoor, and you’ve got a table that doesn’t need talking - just dipping, scooping, and devouring. If you’re after something creamy and comforting, the Chicken Korma hits all the right notes with its rich, almondy gravy and delicate spice balance.

They also cater to those looking for a lighter plate. The Greek Salad might not scream "Pakistani cuisine," but it’s refreshing and surprisingly good - ideal if you’re offsetting the spice or just want something crisp on the side. There’s even a Chana Masala Roll for the plant-based crowd - earthy, tangy, and full of texture.

And don’t forget the drinks. A tall glass of Lassi, especially the sweet variety, works like a charm to cool things down between bites. On hotter days, it’s downright essential. You’ll also spot soft drinks and juices in the fridge, but let’s be honest - nothing quite matches the charm of a frothy lassi after a fiery Chicken Chilli Masala.

Price-wise? Taste Of Lahore Wembley offers serious value. You get generous portions, proper seasoning, and that unmistakable tandoor aroma that clings to your clothes like a badge of honor. It's the kind of place where you can feed a group without breaking the bank, and walk out full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit.

Accessibility might not be luxury-level here, but the friendly staff are quick to accommodate. Whether you’re grabbing a quick Quarter Chicken Meal with Chips and Salad, or sitting down for a full Half Chicken Meal, you’ll find service that’s efficient and refreshingly no-nonsense.

For anyone in or around Wembley craving the real taste of Lahore, this place doesn’t just deliver - it overachieves. From street food classics to hearty grilled feasts, every dish here tells a story of spice, smoke, and tradition served with a side of hustle. Taste Of Lahore Wembley might not boast bells and whistles, but it doesn’t need to. The food does all the talking.

Had an incredible experience at Taste of Lahore in Wembley! The food was absolutely top-notch — the cheese kebab was rich, flavorful, and perfectly grilled, while the lamb Mandi was incredibly tender with just the right blend of spices. Both dishes were real standouts. The service was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. As a lovely surprise, they even offered us a complimentary kheer, which was the perfect sweet finish to an already amazing meal. Highly recommend this spot if you're craving authentic and delicious Pakistani food. Will definitely be coming back!

Food is tasty but portion size has decreased! £22 for 2 chicken naans with delivery at this size is a little not fair!

I was with my mum on the High Street doing some shopping when she noticed Taste of Lahore and asked if we could go in. I was a bit tired and hesitated at first, but eventually agreed — and oh my God, I’m so glad I did! It was honestly one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. The variety of food was amazing, full of flavour, and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We left really happy, my mum asked if we could go again — this time, I was excited! We returned and once again, the food was incredible. The portions were generous, and every bite was a joy. Since then, I’ve been back many times. Every time I try something new, and each time I’m left saying “Wow!” The taste is consistently excellent, and the quality never disappoints. You can really enjoy proper, authentic food here. The service is great, the staff are kind and attentive, and the food is always top-notch. The only thing I’d love to see is the restaurant getting a bit bigger — it deserves to grow! That would make it absolutely phenomenal. Thank you to the whole team — you’re doing an amazing job!

This restaurant has the perfect choice of meals for all the Indian taste buds. Each dish is full of flavour & taste. The sitting area might be a bit smaller, but the restaurant is always full with customers. One thing I can say, it's worth spending for meals at this restaurant, as each dish has the authentic taste of Punjab.

Visited 11May24, Sat - sorry Shalini that this review is rather belated! So, it was our last day in London and we still had not gotten to eat Chicken Tikka Masala, which we were told would be representative of their local food. Thankfully for us, near our Travelodge hotel and within walking distance was Taste of Lahore. We were in at 12.29pm and left at 1.03pm as we were in a hurry. Good thing that service was very efficient and pleasant - the place was busy, yet smiley Shalini managed to make us feel at home and also well attended to. I would go back to this outlet because of her! We spent £15.50 @ Taste of Lahore (chicken tikka masala £12, butter naan £2, naan £1.50). Salad is complimentary, thanks! Food is good and very reasonable by UK standards. (Food in UK is very pricey for us when compared to prices in Singapore and South East Asia.) Would have loved to try more items if we had time and money on our side, as it was already the last day of our holiday.
